Couldn't agree more. Everyone of them is brilliant in their on rite, but as a band I don't think they could got any better now.

This was absolutely the highlight of Ian's home show for me. I had never experienced BF or the Aussies (in any form) perform it. It was brilliant! I agree with many of the previous posts about the nature of the piece, it's openness to interpretation and so on, but as good as BF or anyone else is at playing it, calling it better than the original is.... I'll leave it there. The Pompeii version is magical and David's version from Gdansk rivals that for sure. I'm so glad to have seen BF perform it and it stands head and shoulders above any other tribute even attempting to do it. But we knew that already, didn't we.
