TOPIC: NA 2010 & 2011 TOURS

NA 2010 & 2011 TOURS 2 years, 8 months ago #8

I wanted to know what is in store for fans in the united states.......
I realized that the tour is not yet under the Brit Floyd banner however the management is the same.
Are you playing the same greatest hits tour as last year?
Will there be Lasers this year?
When will you be back in the USA under the new Brit Floyd name? and will you play more cities than this current mini tour of NA only 24 dates thus far....
Will you be playing any full albums in the near fututre as in the past...?

Brit Floyd will be touring North America in 2011. Setlists continuously evolve, but there are different performing rights issues when playing a full album as opposed to selections from a number of albums.

Sorry, snappnekk, we aren't able to able to answer questions about the fall tour, it isn't a Brit Floyd show.

Thanks for the information!

I am looking forward to seeing the band in 2010 & 2011 and beyond, I've seen many floyd tribute bands and there is no caparison, you are the best!
I realize that this fall Brit Floyd is still Aussie Floyd but have become familiar with Damien, Ian, Bobby, Carl, Rob, Arron & the girls and will be going
to as many shows as I can get to in a few weeks....I always bring a crew of newbies to the shows and after seeing the band just once, they cancel all their plans to see any other Floyd tribute, and we all go together the next year....We missed the lasers last year and hope they are back this fall, and also did not know about copy right rules for full albums but can only hope for some 1st set albums as in the past as they are my most cherrished memories of your show....

If we're talking about 2011 set lists hows about bringing back "On the Turning Away" as last time I heard it I was blown away!! Oh, and would be nice to hear "Not Now John" have an airing as I don't remember ever hearing that played..one of Pink Floyds rare released singles as well I seem to remember!!
