Is there an easy way of finding out when they will be at other North West venues in the near future?

Acoustic Unlimited, featuring Damian, Gareth and Joanna Darlington will be appearing at the Jolly Tar, Nantwich this coming Friday, August 5.

Great music, great company and great chips.

My wife and I travelled from Wolverhampton to see this gig, together with a workmate and his daughter, who live nearby. We'd read good reports and my mate shares Damian's love of Friday Night in San Francisco, so we thought it would be a good night but it was even better than that. Great playing, varied songs and instrumental pieces, everyone having fun, with the occasional frown of concentration!

Damian, Gareth and Joanna were joined by a depping bass player and a chap on keyboards who did a great solo spot. We knew about Damian's guitar playing but Gareth was very accomplished on guitar, violin and mandolin and Joanna has a great voice, as well as playing guitar. We didn't try the chips but the beer was good!

Would recommend anyone who loves great music to give Acoustic Unlimited a try. We'll certainly be there when we can.

It was indeed a great night of music and fun. Steve Gaffney was on holiday, so Howie, who usually guests with AU on guitar and is a member of The Classic Rock Show, sat in on bass. Keyboard duties were handled by the brilliant and bonkers Mark Joell - his solo spot was something to behold, and almost impossible to follow. The chips were good too.
I don't know why, but there it is.

Just another quick reminder about the Acoustic Unlimited gig that myself, Rob Stringer and Gareth Darlington (Brit Floyd’s sound engineer) will be playing this coming Friday 23rd September at the Jolly Tar pub www.jollytarpub.co.uk The line up will also feature Johanna Darlington on vocals, guitarist Howie G from The Classic Rock Show and Steve Gaffney on Bass.

Acoustic Unlimited play an eclectic mix of acoustic jazz, celtic, rock and classical pieces, both vocal and instrumental. You can check some of our instrumental tracks out at www.myspace.com/acousticunlimited

Hope one or two of you can make it along.

Damian
