When did you start to play?
I started on piano at age 9 with my Grandmother who was a concert pianist trained at the Conservatory of St. Louis. I then studied with Nellie Whittaker, another concert pianist who studied with world renowned Guy Maier at Juilliard in New York. I then performed three recitals at Steinway Hall.
Tell us about some of your previous projects.
I took an interest in rock music early on, primarily from three records I heard: Foxtrot, Fragile and Dark Side of the Moon. Those three albums literally changed my life and set me on a course of performing in Yes, Genesis and Pink Floyd bands. I've had the pleasure of working with Alan White and Patrick Moraz as a result and even got a feature in Keyboard magazine a few years ago.
